Valentine's Day
Valentine's Day or Saint Valentine's Day is a holiday celebrated on February 14th across the world. In the English speaking countries, it is a customary day on which lovers communicate their love for each other by sending Valentine's Cards, giving flowers, or presents. Valentine's Day is named after two people from the many Early Christian martyrs named Valentine. Valentine's Day become linked to romantic love as a result of Geoffrey Chaucer in the High Middle Ages, when the practice of courtly love flourished.
