Puffing Billy was painted as a pen and wash using watercolours and ink in 2009. It is the original art work of Sketchart26. It was painted from Sketchart26 original photograph taken on a deliberate day out with the intent to photograph interesting things to paint later. When painting Puffing Billy I first lightly sketch in the picture and then painted it in watercolours and after added the ink. I then uploaded a photo of my painting to Photo Bucket, where I added in a black boarder. The design features Australia’s Favourite steam train Puffing Billy travelling along the famous Monbulk Creek Trestle Bridge on its narrow gauge 2ft 6 in (762 mm) gauge heritage railway in the Dandenong Ranges near Melbourne Australia. It also displays’ the beautiful Dandenong Ranges tress all of which is nicely presented with a black framing around it. . Most products are customizable.
