Did you know that Facebook has become the most visited website in the United States! On Christmas Eve Facebook took over the No 1 ranking. Just over the Christmas period alone their share of visits to their site increased 185% (reference Experience Hitwise)
So I ask you!.....Are you using Facebook?.... And if not.. Why NOT??????
Here we are with a resource that can potentially help increase our sales and some of us are not using it, or using it ineffectively.
So maybe it’s time we put Facebook to the test. Let’s see if Facebook really does works. Below are some ways to help you market your business on Facebook.

Once you open the account, be sure to fill in your profile. This is an awesome place to provide those valuable links to your business. Also explain a little about your business, to let people know what it is all about. If they don’t know they won’t come looking.
Facebook is a social network so use it as such. Use your profile as a place to provide news and Information about you business and products, but be sure to make it interesting or you might be considered that dreaded word everyone hates “A SPAMMER”. This could include upcoming sales, new products, links to newsletters you offer, or interesting things you have added to your website. Wow the list goes on. So many potentials. So give it go!
Facebook Pages

This link will also provide you with and overview of how it all works, what you need to do to prepare your page, show you a step by step and allow you to fine new fans.
So why is Facebook Pages so good? Simple! It allows you to build your own community around your own business. It also prevents you looking like a “SPAMMER”. Yep there’s that horrid word again. It is also the PERFECT PLACE to promote your products!!!! Further it allows your business to have an additional online profile, as Google indexes these pages.
Facebook Groups
Facebook Groups is a great way to ask your customers what they want. Your able to generate a discussion around your products, what your customers would like to see in your store, How they feel about your prices and so much more. They also have a bulk update functionality to help keep your customer in formed. Although you SHOULD know that they DON’T offer and extra online profile as Google does not index them.

Did you know, Facebook Applications helped to put Facebook at No 1. These applications can be a valuable selling tool for your business. So take five minutes out of your busy day and have a look. I’m sure going to now I know about them. Yep I am learning to!

Facebook advertising is another option. It really depends on your personal situation as naturally this one COST! However on the off chance it works for you here is where you fine it.
